1. Processing Activities
1.1 Contact
When you have questions about our site or wish to learn more about our services, you can contact us via email.
Through this, we will process your personal data so that we can engage in a dialogue with you — for example, to respond to questions about our services. We only process the information you provide us during our communication.
We typically process the following general information: name, email, and phone number.
Our legal basis for processing this personal data is Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR.
In special cases, we may need to store your personal data for a longer period of time.
1.2 Customers
We need to communicate with our customers to ensure that the service is delivered correctly. Through this, we may process information such as name, email, services, specific agreements, and other information about the home seeker. The information collected about the home seeker is used only to deliver the service (e.g., contact between buyer and seller) and for aggregated behavioral analysis. This information will never be shared with third parties, except for our data processors who are necessary to deliver the service (see section 2).
The legal basis for processing this personal data is Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR.
1.3 Accounting
We are required to store all accounting records in accordance with the Danish Accounting Act. This means we store invoices and similar documents for accounting purposes. These may contain general personal data such as name, address, and description of services.
Our legal basis for processing personal data for accounting is Article 6(1)(c) of the GDPR.
We store this data for at least 5 years after the end of the current fiscal year.
2. Data Processors
Few can handle everything themselves, and the same applies to us. We therefore have partners and use suppliers, some of whom may be data processors.
External suppliers may, for example, provide systems to organize our work, services, consulting, IT hosting, or marketing.
- Google: Storage and processing of data
- Amazon AWS: Storage and processing of data
- Apple: Storage and processing of data and payment handling
- RevenueCat: Storage and processing of data related to purchases (but not payment information)
It is our responsibility to ensure that your personal data is processed properly. Therefore, we set high standards for our partners, who must guarantee that your personal data is protected.
We therefore enter into agreements with companies (data processors) that handle personal data on our behalf to increase the security of your data.
3. Transfers to Third Countries
As a rule, we use data processors within the EU/EEA or who store data within the EU/EEA.
In some cases, this may not be possible, and we may use data processors outside the EU/EEA if they can ensure adequate protection of your personal data.
4. Data Security
We keep the processing of personal data secure by implementing appropriate technical and organizational measures.
We have performed risk assessments of our processing of personal data and have introduced appropriate technical and organizational measures to increase data security.
One of our most important measures is to keep our employees updated on GDPR through continuous awareness training, GDPR courses, and reviews of our GDPR procedures with employees.
5. Rights of Data Subjects
Under the GDPR, you have a number of rights in relation to our processing of your data.
If you wish to exercise your rights, please contact us so that we can assist you.
5.1 Right of Access
You have the right to access the information we process about you and additional related information.
5.2 Right to Rectification
You have the right to have incorrect information about yourself corrected.
5.3 Right to Erasure
In special cases, you have the right to have information about you deleted before our general deletion schedule.
5.4 Right to Restrict Processing
In some cases, you have the right to restrict the processing of your personal data. If you exercise this right, we may only process the data – apart from storage – with your consent, or for legal claims, defense, or to protect a person or important public interests.
5.5 Right to Object
In some cases, you have the right to object to our otherwise lawful processing of your personal data. You may also object to processing of your data for direct marketing.
5.6 Right to Data Portability
In some cases, you have the right to receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format and to have this data transferred from one data controller to another without hindrance.
You can read more about your rights in the Danish Data Protection Agency’s guide on data subject rights at www.datatilsynet.dk.
6. Withdrawal of Consent
When our processing of your personal data is based on your consent, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time.
